- First thing we did was to make sure we had the correct P.P.E (gloves, steel toe capped boots and goggles). We wore steel toe cap boots to protect our feet in case we were to drop any heavy objects. We wore glove to protect our hand from any sharp bits of brick and of the lime on the bricks. We wore goggles to protect our eyes from any bits of brick dust or any pug that may have been flicked.
- Then we got all the equipment that we needed (level, trowel, bricks, etc).
- We then marked out the lenght of the wall so that we could use it as a ruff guild line. We also used it so that we new where to start to lay the bricks and where to finish.
- We then began to build the wall 12 along and 9 up with an half brick every two course. we also kept on checking it as we were building it so that their would not be any fault in the wall.
- when we got to the 9th course up. We then made sure that it was all plum and done any necessary pointing.
- once we built the wall we then cleaned up any mess ready for the photo.
- once we had our photos taken we then had to take our wall down making sure we done it safely and that all the bricks were clean.
- we then cleaned the tools so that the next person could use them and made sure that the work area was all tidy.
- Finaly we reported that the job was complete.
