- First we made sure that we had the correct P.P.E. (gloves, goggles and steel toe cap boots). Gloves to protect our hands from the lime in the pug and on the bricks as well as from the brick dust. We wore steel toe cap boots to protect our feet in case we were to drop any bricks while transporting them. We wore goggles to protect our eyes from the brick dust and any grout that may have been accidentally flicked.
- Second thing we did was to get all the tools that we needed (level, trowel, tap measure and marking gage).
- Then we started to mark out the size of the wall to, So that we could use that as a ruff guide line. we also used it so that we knew what the lenght was.
- Then we began to lay the bricks making shure that they are all level and are in a straight line. after we layed the first corse we then began to lay the second corse starting with a harlf brick and leaving a space in the middle sot that we could infill it later. we had to make shure that the bricks were inline with one another we done this useing a level.
- we then layed the third course leaving a gap in the middle for two bricks. we then made shure that was all level and all the bricks were inline with one another. we carryed on for three more courses.
- once we built the wall we then cleaned it and got it ready for a photo
- we then had to take down the wall and put the materials back clean for the next person we also clean all the tools. we also made shoure that our work place were tidy
- finaly we reported that the job were done

- we went and got the materials of witch was 15 facing bricks and three half bricks
- we then marked out the lenght of the wall and checked the floor level. we marked out the lenght of the wall so that we could use that as a ruff guild line.
- we then layed the first stage and made shore that it was leveland that the pug were all evenly spread.the first stage consists of 5 bricks
- we then layed the second stage and made shore that it was all level. the second stage consists of 4 bricks and one half brick.once we had layed the second stage we used the level to make shore we are going straight up and not cricked.
- we then carryed on in that order (one brick then one half brick) for the rest of the stages till we got to stage six and once that were done we cleaned up the half wall and around the wall for the photo.

- the second thing we did was to build a platform for the mortar so that is was easier to get.
- then we marked out a straight line about 890mm long so that we could build it accurate
- then we layed the first set of brick and checked it, we checked it by using a level and a tape measure.we used the level to make sure that the bricks were in line and level and tape measure to keep checking that it was all with in 890mm with a 3mm tolerance.
- we then done the same with the second level consists of 3 bricks we made shore that we positioned the first of the three bricks half a brick length in.
- we done the same to the third row except we used 2 bricks once the were level we then place the last brick and leveled that and then took a picture.
- once we had taken the picture we then disassembled it one brick at a time.
