Test: painting bay

  1. the first thing we done was to make sure that we were wearing the correct P.P.E (boots, goggles and steel to capped boots) we wore glove to stop us from spreding the paint around. goggle to protect your eyes in case the paint flicks of the brush. we wore steel toe capped boots to protect our feet in case we were to drop a paint tin on to our feet.
  2. the next thing we had to do was to make sure that the primer and under coat were done once they were done we had to get our equipment (rollers, paint brush, paint, cloth, roller trays and hop up)
  3. we than cutt in around the edges and any where the the roller was unable to reach.
  4. once we cutt in we then used the roller to pain the rest we painted the walls magnolia and the ceiling brilliant wight. once we done the first coat we then put our first coat of gloss on the architrave, dado rail and the skirting.
  5. we then cutt in a second time so that it was ready for the second coat.
  6. we then painted with the roller on the walls and the ceiling untill the second coats was complete and then we painted on a second coat of gloos on the architrave, dado rail and the skirting.
  7. once all the second coats were done we then touched up any odd bitts once all done we cleaned up and reported that the job were done.
