- The first thing we done was to make sure that we were wearing the correct P.P.E ( glove, goggles and stell toe capped boots). We wore glove n case we were to have an alergic reaction with the tile addisive. We wore goggles to protect our eyes from any foreign objects. We wore steel toe capped boot to protect our feet from any heavy object.
- the next thing we did was to get all the equipment and materials theat we needed (trail, tiles, addisive, grout, spreader and a tile cutter)
- the next thing we done was to make a tile gauge we done this useing sevral tiles and spacers. we layed the tiles out with specers inbatween them, and got a pice of batten and marked out the centre line. i then lined up the line with the gap inbetween the two middle tiles and marked out the edge of the tile on the batten.
- we then attached the tile gauge to the wall and began to tile. we loaded the wall and then we spreaded it using the trail after i put a line of addisive on i the attached the tile and the spacers in between them.
- once we did the top half we then tiled the bottom usng the same prinsible.
- once all the tile we in place and set we then mixed up the grout and began to apply it to the sides of the tiles we done this using a grout spreader.
- once all the gaps we filled i then used my finger to smooth the grout so that it looked neet and clean.
- finaly we tidyed up our bays and cleaned our tile and reported hat the job were done.
