Risks assesment
There's a couple of hazards they you can fall down the man hole if the drain cover isn't strong enough. you can get the pug in your eye's. Some people can react with the pug and come out in a rash to the skin. Methord statment

The first thing we have to do is to view the property and determend how much work is needed and the amount of time it will take. The next thing we will have to do is to get all the required materials and tools. we then will send a quote and if the cilent is happy we will then proceed with the work.
We then had to get the correct p.p.e before we start. Gloves, Steel toe caps, goggles. We started to clean out the area and scooping the old pug out of the bricks and putting it in a bucket. We then took the drain off and started to put pug arund the edge. we kept making sure that the man-hole was level. once we made sure that it was all level we then smothered the puground so that we could get a good finish. once all the sides were smother we then tidyed every thing and made sure that no pug was in the drain because other wise it could cause a blockage. after ever think was tidy we then put the cover on and reported that the job were done.

clay pipe

Common Defects

clay pipes crack because they get to old, also when water runs through them for over a period of years it will start to decay.
materials:
The materials that we used for this job were two pipe connectors.
Defects in the materials:
The screws could become loose after a while and could also become rusty.
Tools:
· Saw Hacksaw
· Pencil
· screwdriver (flat-head)
· Mop and bucket
· dust pan
· broom
· bin

Risk assessment:

The risk assessment for this job is basically to wear your PPE and to be careful around a wet area, this is so that you don’t slip over. The PPE is so that you don’t get any sewage into cuts on your hands or so that when your cutting the pipe you slip and catch your foot, this is why you have to wear steel capped boots. Wear goggles just in case sewage water gets into your eyes.

Method statement:

Before you start the job make sure you get the tools you need ready, first mark out the part of the pipe you need to repair get a saw and cut the pipe where you have the cut marks when you have cut the pipe on one end of the pipe put a pipe connector and make sure it goes half way down when you have got it on the pipe tighten it up and put it on the pipe and tighten that end when you lay the pipe down against the other side mark off where the pipe end and the cut that part off. when you have done that slide the other pipe connector on the pipe then slide it across on to the other part of the pipe then tighten both sides up and make sure you have tightened them enough so it don’t leak

methode statment

The first thing we have to do is to view the property and determend how much work is needed and the amount of time it will take. The next thing we will have to do is to get all the required materials and tools. we then will send a quote and if the cilent is happy we will then proceed with the work. we first removed the broken tile and replace them with the new ones so that we could get to doing the ridge tile. once we replace any broken tiles we will measure and mark out where the batten needs to go. we will then pre-drill a hole in then brick work with the hammer drill. once the holes are drilled we will then attach the batten to the wall so that the ridge tile can hold on. we will then pug the tile so that it is 10mm higher and 10mm away from the wall we will do this all the way alone. once that we attached them we will then make sure that all of the pug inbetween are smooth and have a good aperance with no hole for the water to get in. once we made sure that evey thing is up to standerd we will then tidy up and make sure that no tools are left on site.
