We wear correct PPE. To prevent these risks from happening. To stop cuts to hands wear gloves so any wood or splinters. Then to stop dust or wood in eye wear goggles and also it will help when using power tools because PPE will help and use must be trained to use them. we are working to they health and safety act of 1974.

method statement

The first thing we have to do is to view the property and determent how much work is needed and the amount of time it will take. The next thing we will have to do is to get all the required materials and tools. We then will send a quote and if the client is happy we will then proceed with the work. We then put on our p.p.e (gloves,goggles and steel toe capped boots). we then measured the gap where the gate needs to go so the we could get the replacement. once we got the replacement because it was a little to big we had to plain it down abit. once it was the right size we then attached the brackets and the lock and mage sure that it was all working good and was not sticking. once the gate were fixed. we then cleaned and tided up makeing sure that we dispose of any non-reusable materials.
