man hole

  1. first thing we did was to make sure we were wearing the correct P.P.E (gloves, goggles and steel toe capped boots). We wore steel toe capped boots to protect our feet from any falling objects. we wore gloves to protect our hands from the brick dust and the lime that is on the bricks. we wore goggles to protect our eyes from any foreign objects.
  2. we then got all the tools and materials we needed ( bricks, pug, string and brick gage).
  3. we then marked out the size of the man hole and drew an outline as a ruff guide line.
  4. we then began to lay the bricks 3 and a half one way and 2 and a half the other. once we and layed the first course we checked making sure that it was in tolerance. the we continued in that patten.
  5. once the wall was built we made sure that it was in tolerance. we then cleaned it up ready for the photo.
  6. once we had taken the photo we then had to take it down safely and make sure the bricks were cleaned after we used them.once the wall were taken down we had to checked the tools were put back in the right places and that every thing was clean.
  7.  we then reported that the job were done
